Dear Family and Friends, It has been a blessing sharing with you - TopicsExpress

Dear Family and Friends, It has been a blessing sharing with you the experiences I have had for the past two years while ministering at the Wycliffe Associates (WA) Guest House in Yaounde, Cameroon. Thank you for sharing this journey with me! Your cards, messages, and words of encouragement have been such a blessing. I have never doubted that God called me to Cameroon to serve Him. He has confirmed it in so many ways. So it is, with that same conviction, I believe God is calling me into a new position called “Staff Care” located in Bamenda, Cameroon, about 7 ½ hours NW of Yaounde. Staff Care has a variety of responsibilities including: hosting missionaries when they come in from their villages, preparing meals, being a good listener in order to know their needs and concerns, giving words of encouragement, organizing fellowship events, taking care of children to give parents a break, gathering needed supplies, running things out to the village on occasion, and helping with projects. In general, I will be keeping my finger on the pulse of the mission community and what they need. I am honored to be asked to fill this position and as I have learned from scripture (Moses, Gideon, Jeremiah, etc.) along with my past experiences that it’s not about me, it’s all about Him! If He calls, He equips us! Praise God! So, what does this all mean? Well, it means I have committed to another two years in Cameroon along with my children’s blessing. I will need your continued prayers! There are a lot of “unknowns” that face me as I step out in faith into this new role. I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible when I come home in December to share what God is doing. In the meantime... Please pray for: 1. Wisdom as I seek God in all areas of planning and serving. 2. Unity in focus and purpose amongst the different mission communities I will serve. 3. The LOCATION that I will work out of in Bamenda. This is a biggy and has not been decided yet! 4. Wisdom for those making decisions regarding the extra needs and involvement for the Guest House in Bamenda 5. Building connections with the missionaries from that area. 6. All the “Unknowns” – that God would go ahead of me and prepare the way. I have a PRAISE!!!!! God has already supplied me with a vehicle to drive for the first 5 months when I return! I will be renting this vehicle from a missionary going home on furlough. Thank you for your prayers and financial support over these last years! It has meant so much to me!!! I look forward to seeing you in December! Serving our Lord together and loving it, Char
