Dear Federal Government...yes I mean you Harper....please read the following: Grades K-7 The strike action will not allow for the completion and distribution of report cards for students in grades K through 7. The assessment information that we need in order to produce report cards is not consistently available due to the strike, nor do we have resources available to produce full report cards; therefore, we are not able to produce an accurate statement of your child’s progress at this time. Unless you have been notified otherwise, your child will progress to the next grade and no final report card will be issued. Now......kids need some things in their lives to be consistent.....my little one had a bad dream last night that she was going to fail grade 4. I know there is no way that would happen. Shes just to good a student but.....kids measure much of their success based on their careers as a student. They also have real fears and the success or failure of their future is once again in your hands! Not only have you tied that hands of teachers....youve managed to bind a great many students to the whipping post as well. I stand behind the teachers 110% so please stop trying to privatize the school system. Our country was made great by an ideology that you clearly dont embrace...every child deserves the best education they can get.......STOP BEING SUCH AN ASSHOLE!!!
