Dear Friends, Heres the latest update on my sister. Her oxygen saturation have been of concern to the point that she is on a bi-pap, a mix of air and oxygen. She has been monitored, attended by several doctors. Heart is strong and no infection. Stomach is doing well. Not sure about kidneys but the output seems good and a lighter color each day. Issue: the pulmonary doctor wants to put in a trachea tube and a feeding tube. We told him no and he is somewhat defensive to our decision. My question is, Why would you have someone go through those two surgical procedures when the individual is sitting up, smiling, talking, and understanding of everyone in the room?
