Dear Friends, Tips from the Accountant, If you are a business owner and you hire workers to do the work, please do not pay your workers cash. I do not care, nor the IRS, if your wokers are undocumented immigrants or not. You are hurting yourself and the economy by paying them cash. Also, if you have problems with the IRS, do me a big favor and stop calling those people on TV flashing a 1-800 number offering tax relief. Save yourself some time and money. The only tax relief you are going to get is a big waste of your money. Find a good Accountant or tax lawyer or contact me. Final tip. If you need to go to an IRS office to talk to an Agent, please, please, please do not go to the office in Calverton, MD. They are way understaffed and most likely you will not get the dedicated attention that you deserve. Instead, go to the one in Baltimore City, MD.
