Dear Friends, We pray that this note finds you well. We’d like to share something personal that Saul and I (Hannah) are going through. We have been working on getting Joshua and Havilahs U.S. citizenship which they where not given automatically when they were born because I did not live in the U.S. after I was 14 years of age. Last year we were able to get their green cards. We were told to come back into the Guatemalan embassy after we had the green cards so that we could get U.S. citizenship. Now the laws have changed, and we have to fly up the US to get the kid’s citizenship completed before December. If we do not do it by then they will lose the green cards. Some of you our friends know that we had been saving up for two years so that we could go last December. We spent more then $2,000 just on the green cards- not to mention the travel expenses - and would not want to lose all the work and money we have put into it. Our time is short, and we have wheelchair distributions and other activities planned through the rest of the year, but we do have a little time in September that we could fly up. Sad to say we do not have the finances to do so at this time, especially since it came as such a surprise, but we know that God is in control and all thing work out for good!
