Dear Friends and Supporters, To all those who took the time to listen, man the phones, knock on doors, and to vote – more than 10 thousand of you – I’d like to thank all of you who believe in our vision of a happier, more prosperous tomorrow for all Americans. Our efforts have reinvigorated the principles of hard work, personal responsibility, and a leaner more responsive government. We have laid the organizational foundation that will endure for those who share these ideals. After Gerald Ford was nominated for President in 1976 a young convention goer asked Ronald Reagan to sign his convention ticket as a souvenir.
