Dear Friends and community, Our dear friend Anna is going through really hard times and needs our help. Anna’s husband Sasha( Alex ) was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and just had surgery on June 27th. He will need chemo and radiation after that. Alex is the breadwinner and medical insurance holder in this family with 4 children. As some of you know, one of Anna and Alexs daughters, 11 year old Becky, a student at BBA for 7 years and aid to younger students, had a heart transplant several years ago and needs ongoing extensive treatment and multiple visits to specialists. Unfortunately in the past year she had heart transplant rejection and needed frequent hospitalizations at Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital when her father was diagnosed with brain tumor. She is doing better now, and back to helping out with the younger students at our summer camp. We can only imagine how devastating it can be to this wonderful, loving and warm family. Alexs diagnosis of the brain tumor is more than this family should have to handle on their own. We as community shall stand up together and help them to alleviate financial worries at least for a while so they can concentrate on healing and getting better.
