Dear Friends ; we are still laughing at a wee incident in London . In a smashing street cafe in Monmouth Street , Covent garden , a man and woman sit down next to us and within minutes , theres an ice bucket and bottle of plonk in it . Nice people , well dressed ( no trainers ! ) and they start to get tipsy . Bear in mind they are right next to us and every word is audible . She clearly works in HR and he has just started in some other bit of the Firm . They are both married and have children . Both seem to get up about 4.30 to travel into London . He is talking about his two wee boys , she has an older child and they get louder and more tipsy . The conversation is getting giggly ;-) Suddenly the guy announces , his wife just doesnt understand him . She announces shes tired of her husband , he leaves her to do everything . Again , this is right at our shoulder . Another bottle arrives and there is total silence all of a sudden . I turn around and they are sooking the face off each other . In between glugs of plonk and huge screen snogs , they then disappear into the Hotel and are probably Mr and Mrs Smith for the night . Superb . Would love to know how things go !
