Dear God, quick question--did I do something wrong? Im only asking because Ive been around for a while and truth be told, You have consistently given me the silent treatment. If You think about it Youll realize that You have never actually spoken to me and I have to confess Im feeling a little jealous that Youre talking to this Cruz guy but zipping Your lip around this Cluess guy. God, C-L-U comes before C-R-U, so if the chatter is alphabetically delivered? You missed me. If You did it on purpose, Im not sure why. Is it because I vote Democratic more often than not? Does G O D only confer and consult with the GOP? Id be shocked because I just dont think youd be big on cutting back on the working poor and their food stamps, especially with You feeding everybody with the manna and the loaves and fishes and all that. Now, maybe Im just being paranoid. Or maybe it never happened. You never spoke to him. Maybe Ted Cruz is a contemptible fabulist who tries to appeal to the fear and superstition of the lowest common denominator. Lord, Youd know better than I. Anyway, Im around if you want to talk.
