Dear God, you know me, and I have not always believed in you, yet - TopicsExpress

Dear God, you know me, and I have not always believed in you, yet I wanted to, but your so called son was most impressive. But dear God these followers of yours do not seem to be anything like your son. My prayer to you is very simple, make these people that say you are their guide, to understand what cutting childrens food is about, and its not Christian.. Perhaps a hint from you on their war love, judgmental attitudes and the hate of all people different from them. This old agnostic wants to believe you can change this, but so far they are continuing their assault on babes at Christmas, and all groups that are not like them. Benevolence that you say should be in the heart of believers, is missing from your flock. Charity is there, but only when they decide its worthy but the daily food to the innocent is being diminished at a time when they need it most and this misanthropic madness is backed by youre flock. Dear God how about you perform one more miracle for us? Cause the religious right to see the need for a nutritious diet for your children. Working families that put in hard labor are often not paid enough to properly feed their children. This lack of enough for proper food includes many past and current serving military that are paid so little, that food stamps are needed to keep their kids healthy as the parents serve. I may not be a faithful follower, but it seems many of those that claim to be followers do not see the harm they cause youre people. God if you are the real thing, do whatever it takes to make them understand selfishness and hate of the poor is the opposite of you agenda and praise you we will. I have no power to do this, but you do, and if its really love you want us to embrace, let our children eat well, allow our gay population to mate without the hate, and show your flock that war is not the answer, so then we all can see youre majesty. Amen...
