Dear Habitat Frederick Family, we are saddened to hear of the death of Anne-Lynn Gross who was well known as the Singing Auctioneer. Anne-Lynn up until this past year was our Auctioneer for our House is in the Bag Purse Auction held at Hollow Creek Country Club. Ann-Lynn donated her time and services to Habitat Frederick and played a pivotal role in taking our Purse Auction from a very small event to the extremely successful event it is today. Her gentle and sweet personally, with the ability to pull more money out of our attendees with her deep knowledge, support and dedication for what we do here at Habitat for Humanity. She gave cancer the hard fight, always seeing the positive with a smile and an upbeat attitude. We owe a great deal to our Singing Auctioneer, Ms. Anne Lynn Gross, our thoughts, prayers and love goes out to the powerful spirit that remains behind and a big thank you for all Anne-Lynn has done for Frederick County MD. She is now one of those special angels in heaven.
