Dear Ladies of the page. Since the rebuilding of this newer page there has been one issue that has come up time and time again! That is our normal stance on Re-modeling or Re-making using your own stones. Ordinarily it is something we havent tended to offer as a rule... Our reason; We are a bespoke workshop and prefer to produce the work using our own stones. Two reasons make this our normal procedure. Firstly one cannot make a sensibly viable business profit if one does not supply the stone. It would make us the equivalent of a trade workshop serving Retail clients ( not always good for us). Secondly it would be difficult to be sure we werent working on conflict diamonds or goods. This part would require our checking your stones on a case by case basis and takes up a bit too much time. Well... . CONGRATULATIONS are in order ladies! . Due to your continuing and unprecedented requests; far too numerous in volume that Im completely overwhelmed in truth, we have decided to open up a special service to cater to your obvious needs. This will be exclusively offered ONLY to those who have like this page (members) and are regular visitors/supporters of the page and have shared the page with friends and family. Genuine friends of the page in short. (Inviting ALL of your friends would make us smile. :-) ) This will all still be decided upon on a case by case basis as not all of your stones are going to be sensibly viable and useable for what we do here. *We will still only work in 18ct golds (whichever colour) and Platinum only.* All of our normal services will be applicable to this remake with one exception...we will be unable to guarantee the authenticity of your stone, its colour, clarity, provenance or future value, only the mount we make and work we undertake to create your new ring. A small insurance premium will be billed to you depending on the size and value of your stone to cover it while in our possession. This will be added to the mount cost. So my persistent friends, all of you who have asked for this service should now be happy, as due to your demands we felt beyond obliged to offer this to our already broad range of services but ONLY for you our loyal likers and friends of the page! See it does pay to badger on occasion! Especially when there are so many of you doing so! (tricksy bunch!) Proof indeed for you all that I do listen to you and where I am able I try to alter my services to suit your needs. In the first instance please PM me with images of what you currently have and we can discuss if your stone can indeed be used for a re-mount or not and begin working on feasibility and the finances of such a project. As ever I will totally recommend a London visit for the design stage of the process. As we are not supplying the main diamond an 80% deposit will need to be paid to cover all outgoings and expenditure prior to breaking up your old mount and unsetting your stone to begin its rebirth in one of my creations. We will offer scrap value on the old metal where applicable and this will be taken into account in our costings, plus in very occasional circumstances (only known upon thoroughly viewing the old ring) we may even be able to re-melt and re-use some of your old metal. In the first instance, for those of you whom have already asked, this would be your que to jump up and down and do a wiggle dance.
