Dear Lord, you chose to grant me the greeting of another beautiful day,for this i am thankful, i believe that you have a just and valid reason for your decisions in our lives. i also believe that you have expectations from us regarding our lives, this is the part where i feel like i come up short, so today lord instead of the please help me get this, get over that, or i need something, but today Lord, he it your will that i witness another one of your glorious sunsets, that i may go past all the pain, all the ugly, all the heartache that we have brought to your beautiful world, and just focus on the pain that you endured, by the ugliness of people that you loved,and the heartache that you felt as you died on the cross for their sins. so if i ask for anything lord,let it be to have just a small portion of the love, the endurance, the compassion that you had for the world that day on the cross to get me through this day that you died to allow me to live. thank you my lord for all your blessings on me. amen
