We are nearing to our big annual Gala event commonly known as ‘Pongum Poluthu’ Where do Cultural, Social and Nostalgic friendly moments mingle? At the Manipay Hindu and Manipay Ladies Colleges Annual Event, of course!! This year, we the Executive Committee Members of the Old Students Association eagerly invite you to join us along with your fellow college mates for the celebration of our 22ndanniversary of the Association. This is a great opportunity to meet some of your school mates, teachers, friends while watching quality cultural programs. Where – St. Lawrence Martyr Church, 2210 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, ON, M1P 2P9 When – Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 6:00 pm Why – To promote our school identity and to sustain our long lasting fellow alumni bond (after all, it is likely to be one of the long lasting memories in one’s life) Tickets for this social event are on sale now through our committee members, please contact any one of them listed below. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support our both college constructive works & programs; childhood education is the very fundamental key for the success of a society and the goal of our alumni association is to promote the same at our community. How can you help us on this above mission? Here are a few ways that you can be part of this great cause: 1. Be part of this event by attending to it; show up with your family and friends by purchasing the tickets from our executive members 2. Be engaged with the association constantly 3. Provide your suggestions on the type of cultural items and programs that you would like to see at our next year’s event. Please note that this email is circulated to 57 email addresses out of that 18 of them are Executive Committee Members. That means it serves only 39 additional recipients (some have 2 email addresses). It means relatively a very small group of the true Manipay Hindu and Manipay Ladies Old Student’s population in Canada is being served by this email. We believe we have over 150 alumni of our colleges in Canada and similar amount exists in US. Please help us build our Alumni network..we need to grow & grow immensely!!..
