Dear Mauritians, I hope you all realise what this Ptr-MMM alliance means for Mauritius. It means on the next election where theyre guaranteed to win with a majority government, leaders of this alliance will head both the Presidency and the Prime Ministernship. With no strong opposition government, they can pass whatever law they please within the Parliament, they will basically have the country in their hands to do whatever they please with. I am no political science expert, but it looks like an oligarchy or even a dictatorship to me. Why people dont seem bothered by this really astonishes me! No one else can go against the government now! They organise elections whenever they want, they change leadership roles whenever they want... Come on! If people vote Ptr and MMM again... Game over.
