Dear Members, I request you to all : To divert our minds in developing Surat as well as Gujarat as tourist spot. Question will be arise why? What I know about Kerala there are 3 airports and 3 of them are international and upcoming fourth airport construction is going on Kannur international airport, that will be the biggest international airport in Kerala. And even there is proposal to get 5th airport - Aranmula in Kerala. And see the big difference in Kerala and Gujarat. Kerala is mostly dependent on tourism.Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.And one more biggest serious issue is language barrier that international tourist face in Surat.How many of Suratis can speak English? Only spreading Textile industries will only call illiterate and cheap labour from other states, that will not only do chaos, crime, loot, dirty politics, rape but also that will damage the moral values and future of our city. So the conclusion is start that industry that can call educated and unique skills from country and abroad. And please compare Surat with other cities, why we are behind in terms of getting connectivity ?For e.g. Mumbai is film city, international business hub, international cricket stadium, easy transportation like metro rail and even they are promoting tourism by Mumbai darshan bus, this is only example I am giving. Likewise what we can do for Surat and Gujarat.And what we are lacking, whats the obstacle why we cant attract tourism from other parts of country and world. If we are deserved no one can stop us in any path and dimension.Demanding cannot solve our issue and only deserving can solve. Dear Members this is not lecture I am giving, this is discussion, please reply where I am wrong, where I am right? And on which factor we want improvement to develop our city. Surat is lacking 1. International Cricket Stadium 2. Football ground(In short all sports) 2. Language awareness 3. Zoo(Please dont consider Sarthana, please compare with Banerghatta National Park, Bangalore) 4. Some unique park like London Eye that London have. We cant build Surat Eye(that will be the biggest in whole world) 5. International educational institutions. 6. Gardens 7. Film City and studios. 8. Some un ordinary infra. 9. Huge Amusement Park. for e.g. Essel World in Mumbai. 10. Tranportation Medium like metro and special tourist bus. 11. Cosmopolitan surrounding(Atleast like Ahmedabad) 12. International port(Dont argue because we have already but it is used for only industrial purpose only, it it not like Kandla. Have you heard any domestic or international cruise is going to and from Surat? that I want to know) and many more that I have to know from you. Waiting for your reply.
