Dear Members and Friends of ASD, ASD is transitioning and returning to its mission as an educational and scientific, non-profit organization designed to support, encourage, and promote dowsing and dowsers in a manner consistent with the highest standards of personal integrity and behavior. The remaining Board Members of ASD heard about the resignations at the same time and in the same manner as you did so were all in this transition together. Be assured that ASD is going to move forward with great optimism and your calls and emails have been both heartening and supportive of this fact. Thank you! As the remaining vice president, Annette Weis will step in to fill the role of president only until the weekend of June 5, 2015 when many new board members will be installed and will elect a new president. There will be fill-in appointments made to complete the terms of those who chose to resign before their commitments ended and the majority of these terms also expire in June 2015. If you have any additional recommendations for these appointments, please let us know by emailing your recommendations to Headquarters at [email protected] before November 8, 2014. The Nominating Committee for the 2015-2019 slate has an extremely important job ahead of them. We encourage each and every one of you to help the Nominating Committee by thinking, dowsing, and recommending individuals you believe will express your ideas, hear what others are saying, respect others opinions, listen with an open heart and mind, and be willing to arrive at agreement and consensus. They must be able to create and to accept new ideas while, at the same time, honoring and learning from our past. Send your nominations to: [email protected] or the 2015 Nominating Committee , ASD, P.O.24, 184 Brainerd St., Danville, VT 05028, to arrive by the close of business on November 10, 2014. If you have any questions on the process, please call the ASD office at 802-684-3417. ASD will be participating in the Natural Living Expo, partnering with Spirit of Change, in Marlborough, MA (Boston Area) the weekend of November 15 & 16, 2014. Be sure to stop by the ASD booth and say hello and give us your ideas on what you would like to see ASD doing in the period ahead. Click Here to Visit the Expo Page>> Set your plans for adventure, learning, and fun at the Southern Regional Conference on March 19th-22nd in Hendersonville, NC (Asheville Area.) Terrific keynotes are already described on their website and the speakers listed are WOW! Click Here to Visit the Appalachian Chapter Page to Learn More>> More news on who will be handling what areas of responsibility will be coming in the next two weeks. Watch for the announcement. The former Trustees stated their resignations were for the highest and best good, and we all wish them well on whatever paths they decide to journey. As your remaining Trustees, we look forward to your guidance and assistance in helping us through this period and in keeping ASD strongly focused on its mission. Respectfully, Sandi Isgro, Kevin OBrien, Sandi Ruelke, Keith Schaffer, and Annette Weis
