Dear Members and Friends of Goa Chitra, I have been selected by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India for The Leadership Training Programme (LTP)-2014 for Museum Professionals organised in collaboration with the British Museum, UK. The prestigious 2014 Leadership Training Programme (LTP)-III will be conducted in Three Taught Modules of 2 weeks each in Delhi, London and Hyderabad spread over 6 months. I am off to Delhi this afternoon for the first module of this programme starts on Tuesday, the 18th of March and will continue till 28th of March 2014. Module 2 will be in London at the British Museum from 9th to 20th June 2014 and the last Module 3 will be at the Salarjung Museum, Hyderabad from 28th July to 8th August 2014. Hope to connect with my fellow Goans to decide how to take the museums forward so that every Goan takes pride in their heritage.
