Dear Miserable Human at Sobeys, I would to be the person to tell you that everyone is busy and your day didnt just crumble around you because there are no rotisserie chickens, right now. Even if you are too busy for this sh*t that gives you zero right to speak to the lady who works in the deli like she is gum under your shoe. You should not call people mean names or tell them they need a real job. I would like you to know that I was torn about whether or not to have rotisserie chicken or flick a steak on the grill tonight. I would also like you to know that I felt bad when I put the last chicken in my cart and heard you ask for one 20 seconds later. I generally am a nice person and thought I should let you have it and that I would BBQ, like I was thinking. However, when I looked at you and realized that it was you who cut me off on the parking lot and pulled into the spot Bridget and I were already turning into, and then you spoke to the deli counter lady the way you did, I decided I would rather let it rot in my fridge than let you take it. No one is less busy, less important or less in any way than you. If I had my time back and didnt have a 6 year old with me, I would have told you to your face, in front of the woman you wasted precious minutes of your busy life belittling.
