Elgon a region where you are celebrated and not tolerated, you will remember this is the same ground former President Moi first, officially and publicly declared you presidential candidate in 2001,it is also the only district and constituency in western province that voted for you to a man! Yes your Excellency, please come and check on your supporters,unlike some people in this part of the world who have political hooliganism entrenched in their DNA, Elgonians are politically mature they do not condone such act of political retrogresivenes and uncivilised political mannerism ,we are socially taught how to appreciate visitors who bring us goodies however little no matter their background. kindly bring us farm tools, seeds, fertilizer, chemicals, yes we need things like Farm Credit System Insurance Corporation and even mosquito nets are more than appreciated. please come and pay us a visit, your deputy has made a record four visits to Elgon since your government took power,ask him what kind of reception awaits you they are very genial, good natured and welcoming people. Meanwhile, i will be blunt your excellency , for those who have deliberately chosen to self marginalize themselves grant them what they want..simply stonewall yes practice that political aloofness on their.side..your dad wasnt Wrong to choose that path, your political god father did the same and so did the immediate former president because as we hopefully look forward to a politcal new dawn others are working so hard to send us to a descending dusk!
