Dear NBA, You have in the Philippines the most basketball fanatic bunch. Many people here think football is only for kids, and Cricket is an insect. If i were you, i would have been more lenient. Would you have lost money or tarnished your brand if you let them play? Youre lucky, were losing playing grounds faster than were losing fresh air. If we had kept our grounds, we would still be playing baseball. Yes the game of basketball in China is growing, but you dont want to lose an entire fan-nation, just because of business. Thats bad business, i tell you. I hate to say this, but if we get too depressed, we might wake up to the truth that were really not tall enough to play the game seriously. You dont want that. We buy the most number of air jordans in the sizes 6-9. Thats a lot. Do i have to tell you that you earn much more from a size 6 than a size 12 for the same price? Do i? Love, Not a Basketball Fan… but Commiserating.:)
