Dear Northern Virginia commuters: I understand that you are utterly incapable of driving when there is any precipitation in the air. Its apparently genetic, so I dont hold it against you. But for the love of Mike, if youre so damn terrified that you cant bring yourself to drive more than half the posted speed limit, STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE PASSING LANE! For that matter, if youre that scared, just pull off the road, park the car, and assume the fetal position until the weather clears. Heck, go ahead and wet yourself if that makes you feel better. Just get out of the way and let the rest of us get to our destination in a timely manner. Thank you.
