Dear Praying Friends, Our president, Reese Kauffman, often tells us, Its not what you say about prayer that makes a difference, it is what you do about it. We are grateful for friends like you who do something about prayer. Thank you for taking the needs of Good News Across America® before the Lord and asking for His blessing. We believe that Good News Across America has a solid and proven strategy, but we know that it is Gods blessing that has and will make the difference. Prayer is the fuel of this ministry and we thank the Lord for folks like you who are fueling all that God is doing through Good News Across America. January will be an important month, so we invite you to join us in praying for the following items: •Pray for two trips to Indianapolis in January. We would like to have many meetings that would enable us to move closer to the goal of having 30 partnering churches. Pray for Pam Hall and Sherie Phares as they seek to contact pastors and set up those meetings. •Pray for a trip to Milwaukee (2016 city) at the end of the month. I will have the privilege of speaking to a group of several hundred ministry and city leaders at the State of Milwaukee Symposium. •Pray that we will be able to finalize the base of operations for Good News Across America in Indy. •Pray for those who are beginning to consider coming to Indy to be part of the ministry this summer. We are praying for 175 workers who can help carry the Gospel to every corner of Indianapolis and help us energize churches to do Good News Clubs in the fall. •Pray for Carolyn Gross, Jan Comaris, Melanie Pastor and Maribeth Pipkorn as they work in Milwaukee to prepare for 2016. •Pray for Sherie Phares and Pam Hall as they work in Indy to prepare for this summer. •Pray for Gods blessing as we seek the funding needed to do ministry in Indy this summer. There is a need for about $65,000 over and above the participation fees paid by those who come to the city. Lately I have been teaching at my home church through four prayers that Paul prayed for fellow believers. They did not have the luxury of communicating their prayer needs through Facebook, Twitter, email, text or even a cell phone; rather, they had to pray for one another without knowing the specific needs. This caused his prayers to focus on their response to situations and circumstances rather than the specific trials they might be facing. Colossians 1:9-14 records one of those prayers that I am praying for you today. For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (New American Standard Bible) Thanks for your prayers and may Gods richest blessings be yours in 2015. Sincerely, John Luck john.luck@cefonline Project Manager Good News Across America
