Dear Randall, Imagine what a Tea Party takeover of the Senate would look like. They’d be free to turn Medicare into a voucher system. They’d be able to jump off the fiscal cliff without a parachute, sending our economy tumbling. They’d be able to drag women’s rights back to the dark ages. It’s pretty much your standard nightmare scenario. There are a lot of reasons why I work for Senator Reid. Preventing that nightmare scenario is just one of them. And I imagine that’s part of the reason you are a part of this grassroots network. This election year, the special interests are all in for the Tea Party -- and we cannot afford to let up.
