Dear Randall, The House of Representatives has released their “new” budget plan -- the Ryan Plan. And surprise, surprise, it looks an awful lot like the old Ryan Plan. That’s right, folks -- yet again, the Ryan Budget Plan would end Medicare as we know it and turn it into a voucher system. It also slashes middle class investments like education, and wont help jobless Americans looking for work. Tell fringe politicians in the House that we will not support their anti-middle class Ryan Budget Plan. Sign the petition today. Year after year, we have rejected the Ryan Plan. And each time, they’ve brought it back. We need to cut wasteful spending and find smart savings. But investing in education is not “wasteful.” Preserving Medicare benefits for seniors is not “wasteful.” It’s important we make our voices heard that this budget is not acceptable.
