Dear Randall, When it comes to climate change, Washington needs - TopicsExpress

Dear Randall, When it comes to climate change, Washington needs to start facing facts -- it’s real and it’s happening now. Extreme weather events like the wildfires and flash floods that tore through New Mexico earlier this year are more frequent and more violent than ever. Yet many politicians continue to insist that nothing is wrong. We can’t wait any longer. I believe we can lay out a plan for the future that addresses the realities of climate change and preserves our way of life -- and I’m not alone. Over 16,000 supporters have signed our petition demanding Congress take bold action to address climate change. But there is still more you can do by taking the next step. Donate $5 or more now to help provide the resources we need to reach even more supporters. The negative impact of climate change isn’t just atmospheric -- it’s economic as well. Here in New Mexico we’re already experiencing extreme weather that costs our communities millions of dollars each year. Projections show that if we don’t act now, the economic impact to our agricultural and ranching industries could be as high as $73 million each year by 2020. Congress needs to come together and act on climate change. And we need to make sure that our grassroots organization is pushing for that action as hard as we can every step of the way. Donate $5 and help us grow our network today. Thank you for your support, we absolutely rely on it to fund our campaign. action.tomudall/page/m/4352c3cd/1636f8d5/6da6cd7f/5aded70b/717995773/VEsE/ Paid for by Udall for Us All PO BOX 25766 Albuquerque, NM 87125 This email was sent to redm5954@rocketmail Click here to unsubscribe
