Dear Ravindra Kollu garu, Warm Greetings on completing 6 months - TopicsExpress

Dear Ravindra Kollu garu, Warm Greetings on completing 6 months term as a Cabinet Minister of Andhra Pradesh... Sir, Dont know whether you remember or not, but We, the electoral people of Machilipatnam constituency still remember the statement made by our MP Sri Konakalla Narayana garu soon after the results were out stating that Myself n Kollu Ravindra will give resignation to our posts of MP n MLA if the Bandar Port construction works does not start in next 6 months... Sir, now plz dont say that the works have commenced by quoting that the Revenue Dept is doing the exercise of acquiring the land required for Port... Sir, we have seen all these sorts of things in the past decade even including the Laying of Foundation Stone by the past CM.. We are not at all interested in these things, we already made it clear by not voting to the recent former MLA who won both the terms stating that he will turn Bandar Port into a reality and particularly in 2009 Elections because of the Laying of Foundation Stone for the Bandar Port.. We want the Port Construction to start immediately... But the sad thing is that it seems the present AP Govt. is not at all interested in constructing Bandar Port.. It is quite clear when there was no Budget allocation for the same in AP General Budget 2014 and In the Beautiful Video on Andhra Pradesh released by AP Govt last month, it was mentioned that we have 3 ultra modern ports ( we already have 3, one each at Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Krishnapatnam), even the future Metro Rail project was mentioned... But what about Bandar Port ? We never asked you for a Oil Refinery or a Fire Cracker Unit, or a Smart City.. (These are also mere statements till now) Hope these things wont take away our dream of Port.. Of Course, we would be happy if we get them, who wont be happy if we get things which we never thought of ?? But the Ever Lasting Dream of Bandar People is only and only BANDAR PORT.. Looking at the present scenario, our dream of a port seems to be a distant reality. And Yes, we have been fooled again. Very recently in the last month, your colleague in AP Cabinet Mr. Devineni Uma garu made a statement in the Press about Bandar Port. But it is being gossipped that all these are just rumours to uplift the Govt Revenue through Registrations and TDP Real Estate Supporters.. Sir, we are not asking for your Resignation neither do we want you to Resign. But Please, Please do something to start the Bandar Port Works at the earliest possible... Sir, When you took Oath as Cabinet Minister 6 months back, we Machilipatnam people were so Happy for you.. Of Course, there lies the inner feeling that as a Cabinet Minister you would do something for our Bandar too, especially Bandar Port... Yes, there were many statements on upcoming projects, but none of them materialised in Reality... Sir, We request you to Please fight for the Dream of Our Bandar People BANDAR PORT.. Sir, many people including my parents said to me that Bandar was once a town and Vijayawada was a Village but with the changing times, Vijayawada turned out to be a City and now the Capital of our state, but Bandar still remains as a Town because of the lack of political will among the Bandar Politicians.. I hope you turn out to be a Politician with a great will to develop our Bandar... We will always be with you for Bandar Development and we want you to achieve greater heights in your Political Career... Thanking You, Uday Phanindra
