Dear Recruiters, It makes me sad when I see your biases toward grads with higher GPA, especially for the entry level jobs. I dont know how you can rely on such a faulty and doubtful system? Or is it just you, too lazy to use your creativity while sorting the pool of CVs? If so, then I believe your recruitment was faulty too (Sorry for being rude on you.) Our formal education system is such that successful young grads have been taught to rely on their talent, which makes them unable to fail gracefully. They rarely experience failure, and dont learn how to learn from their failures. Willingness to learn has been replaced by willingness to meet expectations and survive. Sad, very sad! I believe it is never safe to play safe. Safe will only ensure a steady growth, nothing else. So, explore more, dig deep and ignore numbers. You never know, you might just hire another Steve Jobs! ;) Regards, GPA < 3
