Dear Rotarian of District 3240, The calamity of Uttarkhand, a major catastrophe of recent time, is known to all of us. Our PRIP Raja Saboo ji will visit the site shortly with a team to assess the relief that Rotary can extend at this hour of need. Friends this is the time when our District should raise to the occasion for the greater cause of humanity. Our DG Yogesh, DGN Swapan, DGND Chandu and me have decided to open one bank account for ‘Disaster Relief Fund of RI District 3240’ and DGND Chandu will act as convenor. Whatever fund will be donated to this account against the Uttarkhand Calamity relief will accumulated and diverted to the relief work organised by PRIP Raja Saboo ji.
