Dear Running Community: One of the things we like best about running in Port Credit is the way we support each other as friends as well as colleagues in the sport. Whether it is for a cause like CameronHelps or the Trillium Fun Runs, or just because, we are here for each other. As a locally owned and operated business, we provide full or part time jobs for 5 people and dozens more in associated industries, contribute to the tax base and the economy, and give back to local charities and non-profits. Like all locally owned and operated businesses, we are a vital part of the local economy. By shopping local, you keep money here in the community, where it belongs, and allow it to circulate and benefit others. The weather so far this year has been a sure kick in the gut for all of us who own small businesses.
