Dear Ryan Miller 8 years ago (02-02-2006) Hey buddy, things have been rough lately havent they? Well in the next couple weeks, its about to get a LOT worse. All of your fears are coming true. All of your insecureties are about to be painfully validated. Its going to feel like your life is crumbling around you, and it is. Your marriage has failed, and its way too late to hit the brakes now. You are going to cry so hard you cant breathe. And fall asleep certain that youll drown in your own tears rather than wake up the next morning. But chin up. When the storm settles, big changes are coming. Inside and out. If you could see it now. Youre not fat anymore. Youre not a coward anymore. Sooner than you know, you will begin to transform into something unrecognizable, and foreign. A man. So many ups and downs lie ahead. As you predicted, the Final Fantasy series has gone to crap, Resident Evil has gone to crap, and they never made a Shenmue 3. But the good is overwhelming. You will be happy and confident. Girls smile at you, and your co workers treat you great. You are surrounded by amazing friends whom you cherish and love like family. And speaking of family, you are married to the most amazing wife who treats you like a king. Get to work getting ready for her because she will be your moon and sun all in one beautiful package. With her you will gain a wonderful family that are more than merely in laws. her parents and siblings will touch your life and bless you with their kindness and caring. Well, time to get back to my time. Just remember to keep on trekking forward and never give up on becoming a better man. Ill do the same.
