For the new semester, please take out your planner and make a note of our Academic Salons: 2013 Fall: 1st Academic Salon: Time：9/21(Sat) 2:00 PM Location：TBA Remark: How can we best utilize UW-Madison library resources? How can we enjoy great Taiwanese films? How many live music events do we have in Madison? Details will be announced in early September. 2nd Academic Salon: Time：10/12 (Sat) 2:00 PM Location：TBA Remark: What is the "Cocktail Party Effect"? What is the core of Taiwanese independent music? What are the upper limits of the art of dance? How can we bridge research and open discourse between Taiwan and Madison? Our first Academic Salon in English will be a fantastic interaction between the whole school and us. You are more than welcome to invite your foreign friends (upstairs invite downstairs, neighbors invite next door) to participate in this event.
