: Dear SNN Members, I believe that all of you had experienced these type of neighbors whereby no matter how many times you had feedback to HDB, NEA or even the police, they will get back to you saying that they had spoken to the neighbors. But in fact, either this statement is for show even you had called them back for updates, they will say the same things or the neighbors did not heed the advices from the agencies! These pictures were taken just after the no smoking on the common corridor law came in. I had feedback to the relevant agencies but no changes from the neighbors had been made. These are the same old couple (Old man for smoking at the corridor & old woman for burning the joss items at the common corridor) which I had requested to bring them to the CMC for our mediation but however, they sent in their son & daughter-in-law instead. What cowards the old couple are! Their son & daughter-in-law mentioned during our mediation that if Town Council was to provide the joss bin at the void deck, they would gladly burn their items there. However, Town Council had already provided the joss burn for quite a long time but they are just lazy to go downstairs for burning! In result, the smoke/ashes were then flown to my bedroom & my then-3 year old daughter was being affected. We were forced to close our windows just because of these inconsiderate neighbors who really wanted to burn their joss items outside their unit! My neighbors on my left unit had also been affected & they had 3 kids, coming 4th on the way to breathe in these smoke/ashes. How come my other neighbors can be very co-operative when burning their joss items at the void deck but these neighbors cant do it??? Moreover, they the 4 of them also like to slam their main gate & door when they are in or out of the house with throwing out of their footwears included. What kind of brain they have in their heads? They even talked (Shouted) loudly after 10pm at the corridor when they walked passed my unit as if they want us to know that they are back. Attention seekers??? They must be from IMH in my opinion! - James, Editor
