Dear Sensei Kunio Sasaki & all JKA members and families in Philippines, I was rather shocked to learn of the TV News at the hotel in New York, that strongest Typoon Haiyan attacked to the Philippines. I am very worried about the serious damage at you, all of your members and their families caused by this Super typhoon. As I have just returned to Tokyo via American Airlines from New York a few hours ago, we, all passengers and crews of the flight joined the UNICEFs emergency donation. When I visited in Philippines a long time ago, I was so impressed with the beautiful nature and everyone’s smile in Philippines. We extend our heartfelt concern and we most sincerely hope you will recover from the loss and damage quite soon. Best wishes to you and your family.
