Culprit is sitting in your own office but you are pretending to search him outside . Right now at 1 PM on 21st July 14 , FOCUS NEWS channel reporter is visiting your MOTHER DAIRY shops and telling people that Mother dairy is selling at highest rate . Even more than Market retail shops . No Mother Dairy item is selling less than FIVE TIMES the MANDI rate . IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE OF SHAME LEFT IN YOU , PLEASE RESIGN IMMEDIATELY FOR TURNING BLIND EYE TO LOOT IN YOUR OWN OFFICE . UPA Govt has been telling people that Govt have no control on food prices and also shamelessly telling media that they have no control over retail vendors? Fact remains that it is the Govt. agencies in Delhi and other cities who are pocketing the major share of this loot. 700 odd MOTHER DAIRY outlets of GOVT in DELHI are selling vegetables & fruits at rates more than the street vendors. In fact, there are many Govt. agencies involved in retail business, i.e. MOTHER DAIRY ,KENDRIYA BHANDARS ,DELHI GOVT CO-OPERATIVE STORES , NAFED etc to name a few. After independence , these GOVT agencies were not created by Govt to do business and earn money . The sole purpose was to control market rates . However over the years , these Govt agencies lost track and become dens of corruption for corrupt politicians and bureaucrats . Mostly, politicians were made CMDs of these outfits to please cronies of CM/ PM . Spending on salaries and wages increased many folds . Politicians made massive recruitment of their friends and relations to man them which was designed to be a convenient tool of politicians for making money . All these extra burdens were passed on to selling prices of food items . Part of loss was shared by Govt who subsidized the loss making co-operatives . If the Govt. have the intent , they could very well control food inflation .Previous Delhi CM has been unnecessarily shedding crocodile tears for common man .In fact she had no sympathy for the public. Congress party had become arrogant with the unexpected success in elections . In this game, non lost except AAM AADMI,the poorest of the poor. If CM and PM had the intent ,it was very easy to control prices through Govt. outlets. But , they had no such intent, since they could garner votes even without from unmindful public. Mother Dairy Officer and others of their like in similar Govt food dealing agencies are over- invoicing purchases of vegetables & fruits and pocketing money .Govt. is indulging in UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES , for which it is liable to be sued by Unfair Trade Practices Commission . BUT COMMISSION AGAIN REPORTS TO THE SAME CORRUPT GOVT . It is vicious circle . Retail vendor can not dare increase prices if Govt. outlets start selling at reasonable prices , Who are beneficiaries ? Beneficiaries are wholesalers , Commission agents ,hoarders , retailers along with corrupt Govt officials and politicians . Together they make a whooping 500% kill on VEGETABLES . This loot is shared by traders with corrupt officials and politicians for turning blind eye to this mess. Look , how much money its officers are making in various ways like over invoicing purchases , TA/DA ,commissions in transport, storage etc. THERE is no GOVT. auditor worth the name to check this pilferage of PUBLIC money . It seems greed has over taken everybody in the country. For example , if a farmer is paid Rs. 5/- a Kg. for a veg , consumer gets it @ 25-30/- a Kg. Look the profit margin of the intermediaries for conveyance from farmer to consumer. This equation has taken roots through out the length and breadth of the country.Poor farmer gets nothing for its hard labour and common man paying through its nose , finding it difficult to meet both ends . Mal nutrition due to unaffordable VEG & FRUITS further tells upon the health of citizens . It further contributes to increasing healthcare cost to the country. Another HOARDING TOOL CONTRIBUTING TO INFLATION IS COMMODITY TRADING . Sitting home , you can book tons of FOOD just for 15% margin money. IT IS BLACK MONEY.Few example I wish to qoute :- i) KABULI CHANA( White Chana) was selling for ₹50/- per Kg two years ago . Then hoarding started . Price went upto ₹120/- , stayed there for 6/8 months , it then started its backward journey and again came back to its normal price of ₹50 . Hoarders made huge gains in nexus with political class . It went unnoticed by media . Thanks to Congress hospitality, inflation and price rise does not pinch MEDIA GUNS. ii) A year back , CHITHRA RAJMAH was selling at ₹50/-. Now it is selling at ₹120/- . Some body is making huge gains through hoarding but this too did not invite media attention. Who is making this huge gains . This item is eaten more in every house hold and in road side Dhabas and THELAWALAS around offices . People are made to pay through the nose . It looks like , there is no Govt. worth the name to protect the legitimate interests of VOICELESS CITIZENS of this POOR COUNTRY . PEOPLE HAVE LOT OF HOPE FROM NEW NDA GOVT . Let us wait and see .
