Dear Stacy I admire your work with horses and especially your openminded approach. I know you are extremely busy and receive many questions, so Im just asking mine out of interest and will totally understand if you dont get around to it! Im a small rider (about 5 4 and under 100lb), and sometimes work with tall horses. While I dont mind this, I have trouble mounting any horse over 16.1hh and dislike being dependent on a mounting block. I may be given the opportunity to train a yearling colt who is likely to mature to 17hh or more, so I was wondering if I could teach him to kneel down for me to get on, similarly to how you train a horse to lie down.
