Dear Staff! We are so excited to start the camp in the next couple of days and to welcome you all in Kiev! ARRIVAL TO KIEV Please be informed, that you all will be picked up at the airports, where you’re arriving, by drivers holding a “DEC Camp” sign. The driver will take you to the hostel that we booked for you (unless you arranged differently). This is the “SMART Hotel”. The address is: Predslavinskaya Street, 12, Kiev. The emergency contact number is: + 380 67 117 12 17 (Olga Cyuprik, Camp Administrator) As of 12th of July, one of our Ukrainian Counselors – Anton Voloshanskiy – will be staying with you at the hostel to meet you and help with any immediate arrival questions. Here is Anton’s phone number: +38 063-226-97-31 You are welcome to drop by our office anytime to say hello to the Senior Team. The HQ office address is: 16 Podvysotskogo Street, Kiev. STAFF TRAINING The first 3 days of the staff training will take place on the “Chaika” campus outside Kiev (14-15-16 July). On July 17 we will depart altogether to the camp, and spend the last 2 days on the actual camp site. Please be advised, that those of you, who are staying at the SMART Hotel in KIEV, will be picked up by a bus on the 14th of July, at 9.00am. So please be ready to load the bus with your luggage! The rest of staff – we will be departing at 9.00am from our HQ office (Podvysotskogo Street 16), so please make sure you arrive here at least 15 minutes in advance. If you need any personal items, please make sure you buy them in Kiev before our departure. We will have a late breakfast as soon as we arrive to the training site.
