Dear Tax Payer, How does it feel to know that large Corporations are avoiding or evading up to £120 billion in taxes each year, whilst your wages are worth less now than in 2010 ? How does it feel to know the richest people got 50% richer last year ? How does it feel to know that over £5 billion is spent yearly on subsidising private rail companies ? How does it feel to know Landlords receive £5 billion in tax breaks yearly ? How does it feel to know Corporation tax is going down next year to 20% which is half of what the USA Corporate tax is ? How does it feel to know that actually the Welfare bill is mainly £85 billion in pensions which people paid in to all their lives ? How does it feel knowing over £20 billion goes to private landlords each year from Welfare to pay Housing benefit to buy their houses for them ? How does it feel to know Job seekers allowance amounts to only just £5 billion a year about the same as rail subsidies or Landlords Tax breaks ? How does it feel to know that Welfare benefit fraud is only a guess and even this only amounts to 0.7% of the Welfare bill ? But if they KNEW there was fraud they would stop it eh ? How does it feel to know according to ONS data there are only 500,000 vacancies in the UK yet over 2 million unemployed, 1.4 million on zero hours contracts and 2 million more hidden ? How does it feel to know the Government and DWP stopped 870,000 peoples benefit money last year, a great deal on trumped charges to meet targets, and left them with nothing - zero ? How does it feel knowing you are paying the City Link Redundancies whilst the owners walk away with £20 million ? How does it feel knowing a Gran or Granddad will die every 7 minutes this winter from cold related deaths due to being unable to afford heating whilst Energy company profits soared ? How does it feel knowing whilst you enjoyed Christmas 93,000 children didnt have a home ? Yet there are over 600,000 empty residential properties in the UK. How does it feel knowing MPs expenses have increased 50% since the last scandal and everything is more secret now ? How does it feel knowing they gave themselves an 11% payrise and this substantially increased their pensions which they get after just 8 years ? How does it feel to know you are being screwed yet are being told it is the unemployed or immigrants that are costing you money ? Have you ever been mugged off !
