Dear Treadmill, I am not sure how to say this….so I’ll just say it. I love to hate you! We share such joy when I realize what you have done for me, yet I really really dislike you during that 20-30 minutes we share together 6 days a week. I apologize I step on you rather forcefully and do not appreciate how you change speeds and inclines so quickly. Seriously though, do you have to be so painful… I mean would it kill you to add some padding to your track. As for the monitor that displays my progress, three words. LIE to ME! That’s all I ask. Tell me I’ve got 10 miles in. I mean it’s bad enough I run in place and cover the same ground over and over and over again. It’s insulting I do not make you show me higher numbers. OK maybe not insulting but more revealing about how I run. I’ll see you tonight. (stated humbly) “Love in all Places and in all Things”
