Dear Veteran, In the event of a lapse in appropriations, ALL VA MEDICAL FACILITIES AND CLINICS WILL REMAIN OPEN and fully operational. This includes inpatient, outpatient, prescriptions, surgeries, dental, extended care, mental health, nursing home care, Women Veterans programs and Vet Centers. Veterans Health Administration, the branch of VA that operates our VA medical centers, including the VA St. Louis Health Care System has advance appropriations for fiscal year 2014.
