Dear Vijay Kumar, You will recall that almost four years back I had asked you to intervene and tell an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax (Poonam Rai) to be reasonable and not harass me without any rhyme or reason. You will also recall that your efforts did not yield any results. I was forced to file an official complaint to the Finance Minister, with support from Shri Raghunandan Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha). A few weeks after after the complaint, I had received my assessment order without any adverse remarks. She was however, not affected and continued with her ways. I am extremely glad to report that last night, she as well as her husband (Ganesh Malviya, a BJP leader) were caught red-handed receiving a bribe of Rs. 10 Lakhs from a builder, who incidentally happens to be known to me. Hope that she receives the most stringent punishment possible under law and is not able to do another assessment in her lifetime. My heartfelt sympathies for all those suffered at her hands during the past years!
