Dear Walmart....please require between the hours of 5 and 7 pm that only patrons who have their crap together are allowed to shop. Some of us are too tired from work to hold up to public expectations of politeness. As I stood there tonight with my cart of treasures I was overwhelmed with happiness at being graced with access to a short line and what seemed to be a very proficient cashier. That happiness stripped away like a child brides innocence as I waited for the people in front of me ( Im sure they are lovely people. ... OUTSIDE OF WALMART) to make 2 separate purchases the first one requiring multiple phone calls by the buyer and a managers assistance. There really should be a time limit for any single purchase. I stood sandwiched between this and a parent of a toddler who felt that yelling was a much better option for control than holding the little cherub. I realize now as I age I find my time so much more valuable. I should probably limit shopping to the middle of the night again, most people at 2 am either have it together or have the munchies from being high ... either way they seem as eager to get out as I do.
