Dear Widowed Community, International Widows Day is June 23rd, and Soaring Spirits will, once again, be marking the day by showing the many faces of widowed men and women. For 2014 we will be highlighting some of the incredible accomplishments that our widowed community have made after the loss of their spouse or partner. We need your help! Can you please send by PM to this page a photo of yourself that shows or tells the story of something amazing youve accomplished since the death of your spouse or partner. We are looking for stories of any post-loss accomplishment that you are proud of completing, and then a short description of what you did, and how you felt about it. Think graduations, sporting accomplishments, learning a new skill, getting a new job...anything counts as long as you are proud of yourself. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PHOTOS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW THIS POST. Just send them as a private message so we can keep track of all the messages we receive.
