Dear Workshop participants, Request your support for the less privileged runners in our running space. As you may be aware, we (India Amateur Runners Trust - IART) have the mandate to grow & improve our running space and one of our initiatives (besides the running movie presently in editing stage) is Runners Help Runners. At present, we are supporting #2 worthy runners, namely Nanjudappa and Jagadheesan. The former is a regular podium winner at the 10k and half marathon in the Open Category (TCS10k being the most recent victory) while the latter was the winner at the SCMM14 full marathon amateur category, with aspirations to make it to the Olympics in 2016. IART supports them through outfitting, coaching and bearing their race related expenses from a corpus generated through our past events and the occasional donation. Needless to say, if you are aware of any other less privileged high performance runner (21+) then do bring it to our notice and we will look into their case. Presently our coffers are near empty but our task remains unfulfilled so may I seek a token donation of rs.1000 only from each of you please - thank you in advance.
