Dear Zambians DO THE RIGHT THING PF lied to us about a new constitution for 3 years. PF left our farmers on the back foot while lying that their money had gone to an UNEXPECTED death in the country. Had PF had not lied to the people about the health of the late president our Cobra would be enjoying national support while recuperating somewhere. PF forced an ill man to climb the many steps of parliament. PF forced an ill man to cover thousands of kilometers to go and pretend to be able to deliver speeches at the UN that were ultimately delivered by liars like Harry Kalaba. PF has evil MPs who put their tuma jobs before the health of a father and the needs of primary producers like farmers. It is an insult to the people of Zambia to claim the state funeral was unexpected when these same people did everything possible to ensure an important life was lost untimely. I thank PF for not putting all the expensively borrowed money in Prof. Clive Chirwa, Willie Nsanda, Joseph Kasonde, Alexander Chikwanda s deep pockets. We have infrastructure to show for though much more would have been done had the nation woken up earlier. The PF manifesto promised to deliver the following: 1. A government accountable to the people of Zambia. 2. Enactment of new constitution 3. Repossession of the Zambia Telecommunications Company (Zamtel) 4. The reintroduction of the abuse of office provision in the Anti-Corruption Act 5. Provision of a new visionary leadership which was to redeem the citizens from vices such as corruption, abuse of public resources, tribalism, nepotism and unaccountability to citizens. 6. Economic growth that would filter down to township and village dwellers 7. Access to quality education and health 8. Treatment of executive patients within Zambias borders 9. To guarantee human rights in the constitution by promoting human dignity of individual citizens. 10. Separation of powers of the three arms of government 11. Debt acquisition with the peoples consent through parliament among other issues and a 12. A reduced cabinet Even the few fulfilled promises have become tools for stealing from the Zambian people either materially or morally. ZAMTEL became a campaign tool that could be used to bribe villagers into voting for a PF candidate. The much sang about infrastructure development has been implemented in a way where contracts are awarded before consultants commenced and completed designs. This tendency is unprofessional and was actually started by RB in 2011 in an effort to bribe the people of Zambia. Any successful business has an efficient way of regenerating resources and maintaining competitive advantages necessary for success. Zambia has a chance to elect proven seasoned businessmen in positions of leadership. Zambia has a chance to empower its young people with appropriate education and training that will make them relevant to our developmental needs. No one was born UPND, MMD PF or NAREP. The power to make good decisions is in everyones hands. If you ve been eating bats all along and you are asked to stop because of an Ebola outbreak what do you do?......Do the right thing!!
