Dear Zane, I Have written you before and the advice from you and your fans really helped me out. I am a 17 year old boy and theres a boy that I like. We have became really good friends but I want to be much more than that. I think he kinda know that I like him but he just hasnt asked me yet. I wanna tell him soooo bad but I dont want our friendship to change and what if he doesnt feel the same way? He is all I think about and talk about. All of my friends know this and they just keep on telling me to tell him but Im still very skeptical about it. What should I do? I hoping you and your followers can help me with this. Please keep me anonymous! MY RESPONSE: Aw, I remember those days. Having the wisdom of many years now, I would say that you should come right out and ask him if he has any interest as well. Maybe he will, maybe he wont, but people spend way too much time speculating about someone elses feelings. I have had friends who envisioned futures with men they met and the men did not even have any interest. Then I have had friends who overlooked men with genuine interest because they were afraid to simply ask. I say for for it and see what happens. If he is truly your friend, that will not change.
