Dear Zane, What do you do when your family member spread lies about you to any and everyone. Post it on fb and all as if it was true. It doesnt bother me because I know as well as God do its all lies and petty drama. But I dont want my other family members or fb friends to look at me and think for once what was said is true. Deep down I just want to cry n pray bt seems as tho my prayers are always unanswered. Its only so much I can take n let be said. I need some advice from anyone with A POSITIVE ATTITUDE to help a sister out. Thanks MY RESPONSE: Very sad and that is one of the pitfalls of social media. All somone has to do is make a statement and everyone else acts like it is the gospel. Maybe you need to take a break from Facebook. After all, it is not a life staple or a requirement. I know quite a few people who do not even have a Facebook page, including my daughter. I actually do not even interact with people that I know in real life, or my relatives, via Facebook. I call them and interact or see them in real life. If you simply turn the computer off, you wont know what anyone is saying. Try that for the next week and see if it helps. Outside of that, I would not worry about what others want to believe if everything is a lie. Good luck.
