If you are interested in attending this session please get in contact with me ([email protected]) as spaces are limited: Screenplay Character Development: A Psychological Approach Kira-Anne Pelican Thursday 4th December, 1pm, JP Studio Kira-Anne is a writer, an independent script consultant and a screenwriting tutor. She began her career working for Stanley Kubrick on Eyes Wide Shut, then spent several years working as a Visual Effects Technical Director and Producer on films including the Matrix sequels, Catwoman and the Coen Brothers’ The Ladykillers, before focusing on screenwriting. Her original comedy series have been developed by the BBC and ITV, and her recent comedy drama feature script has been optioned by Play On Films. Developing convincing characters is at the heart of any good screenplay. In this session we will be looking at psychological techniques for creating compelling characters, through learning about motivations, character traits, belief systems and building emotion into your characters’ journeys.
