Topics for Talk Program: What counts as research methodology? Indigenous research methods, practices and epistemologies. Speaker: Mr. Prem Phyak Mr. Phyak is a Lecturer at the Department of English Education, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Department of Second Language Studies, University of Hawaii, USA. His research interests include the intersection of language ideologies, identities and policies in multilingual contexts, sociolinguistic justice, and indigenous epistemology, with a focus on engaged ethnography. His papers are published in various journals such as Language Policy, Current Issues in Language Planning, and International Journal of Multilingual Education.
