Salam Cece Dear Elfendri, Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer - Petroleum Company - Erbil(Iraq) Title : Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer Reporting To : Engineering Manager, Erbil Location : Erbil – Kurdistan Region (Iraq) Qualifications : Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Develop and maintain procedures to assure the condition of the process and utilities equipment will provide safe and reliable operation. • Determine the capacities of I & E systems to ensure that the systems operate stably during all phases of expansion, commissioning and operations. • Provide engineering input into scope for shutdowns/turnarounds. • Development, improvement and optimisation of existing systems, standards and procedures. • Maintain I & E system reliability and integrity by identifying and mitigating risks in a timely and efficient manner. • Ensure safe working procedures are prepared and updated and regulations are understood. • Assist with HAZOP’s, HAZODs, SIL Studies and other engineering reviews. • Participate in safety meetings, audits and action audit recommendations in a timely fashion. Required Experience & Skills: • Degree in Electrical Engineering • At least 20 years’ experience in petroleum processing facilities, refineries, petrochemicals or similar technical plant as and I & E engineer. • At least 5 years’ experience in designing, commissioning, maintaining and upgrading control systems and industrial-scale electrical systems • Experience in working with and managing multi-cultural groups Send your latest updated CV to p.baxi@huxley to book interview schedules.
